CEF INSIGHTS

As the coronavirus pandemic unfolds, it’s becoming apparent, both on personal and business levels, that having emergency savings is critical. We’re encouraged that one of our CEF members recently launched an app that directly helps with the challenge of establishing emergency savings.

Get to Know CEF Member Alexey Krasnoriadtsev

Alexey Krasnoriadtsev has years of experience providing mobile technology within the banking industry. Alexey’s company recently launched an application focused on helping consumers save. His vision for this project, an app called ELI, was not only to help people automate their savings, but also helping people to have the peace of God rule in their lives. Fear and stress about money can distract us from pursuing God, and he hopes that this app can play a part in turning people’s focus to God.

Unlike other banking applications, Alexey decided to directly tie in biblical principles with ELI. There are prayers about finances purposefully interwoven with the savings plan to direct people’s focus and attention toward God. There’s also a partnership with Crown, which will display Crown’s biblical financial teachings inside of the app. Ultimately, this app is focused on the heart of the consumer in addition to their savings. One conviction that Alexey holds is that automation trumps determination when it comes to our savings habits. This is an automated solution that people could easily have access to.

We’re excited that a CEF member has a solution that can speak to the needs people are having right now. The app recently launched, so if there are distribution channels or partnership opportunities that could be beneficial, let us know! We’d love to connect you with Alexey.

Mats Tunehag, who has been focused on developing the Business as Mission, BAM, concept for the last 20 years, has adapted a well-known prayer by St. Patrick for those in business. The coronavirus has caused a lot of problems for many individuals, communities, and nations, and undeniably caused many businesses to suffer. We encourage you to join us in praying for those in business, as many of you are. You can access the prayer, which is available in five languages, here.
